I bought Under Armor duffel bags for the guys and had their initial put on them. I also filled them with some goodies for the gym and the Lolita Pilsner glasses.

Try to cater to their interests and what is your budget?

Would they like a nice bottle of scotch?

A sweatshirt of their favorite team?

Under Armour T-shirt to wear under their tuxes that day to keep them cool and dry?

A tool of sorts? Such as a wrench set etc depending what they need/like.

Beer of the month club for a few months

a shipment of exotic meat? IE like boar sausage or alligator filets?

I-tunes gift card?

Bose ear buds headphones?

Here is our list.

For the Guys

  • Best man – fishing tackle box and fishing knife
  • Officiant (also my son) iPhone dock with bells and whistles
  • Bride’s escort (also my son) – art supplies
  • Ring bearer/Jr. Groomsman – flip camcorder, SD card and batteries for flip camcorder, activity books, and a neon glow in the dark squishy ball

Each of the guys will also receive their handmade pocket squares and socks. And the over 21 guys are also getting liquor filled chocolates and a gift pack of Smirnoff flavored vodka.

I’m not sure what your budget is, or how many grooms men you have, but we got our two groomsmen watches. Specifically, the timex ones they sell through j. crew with the bands you can change to different colors if they prefer.

my husband gave flasks, ties to wear at the wedding, socks, and converse shoes. typing that out makes it seem like these were all “wear these at the wedding!!” gifts, but i know most of the guys still wear the socks and shoes on a normal basis.

I’m getting my guys matching socks to wear with their tuxes and engraved beer mugs.

I figure they might not be too excited about the socks, but hey! it’s my wedding. lol

I also will probably pay for their hotel room for the night too since none of them have any money. I don’t think guys expect too much in the way of gifts.

We got something initialed for each guy, but different too – each guy’s gift went with his personality or likes. One guy got an engraved martini shaker, another an engraved cigar holder and cutter, then another an engraved bookmark with a skull on it, and finally an engraved holder for a deck of cards. We got them each a bottle of their favorite booze, and then cufflinks that were handmade of their favorite nintendo game for the wedding, as well as their wedding socks.
