FH are eloping in our backyard in June (no guests) and I want everything to be perfect for our professional photos. I’ve looked at dozens of websites and have been stressing out for months over the type of flowers for my bouquet and the cake design / color. I just can’t find any inspiration photos that I like enough to use. I’d really like the flowers to stand out and the cake to be unique. I think we’ll do a small one or two tier cake. Our original wedding reception plans got cancelled so I’m working very hard to give myself the elements of a true wedding even though there won’t be any guests. I hope that makes sense.
So far the color scheme is just purple (my shoes and FH’s tie) and I don’t know what other colors to use or how to create a theme for a summer wedding. Your opinions are greatly appreciated and I can do a poll once I get some ideas. Here are the photos of what we’ll be wearing. Thanks!

Here are a few cake ideas for you!

I did a google search for “unique purple wedding cakes” and the results are very diverse. Since you already know that you’d like either a 1 or 2 tier cake, I’d start with the basic shape. Do you like square vs round? I think the square is more unique, personally.
As for flowers that stand out….hrm. You might have to start with things you don’t like and can eliminate right off the bat. For instance, I hate flowers that are dyed green, so that took out a bunch of potential contenders. Then think of your shape. Round bouquet or cascading, or rustic and hand-gathered? Know your basics and build on them.
Other colors to use… yellow is the compliment of purple, which could lend a bold feel. Or you could do what me and my SIL both did and use a color that’s next to it on the color wheel. I did blue and green and she did orange and red. I wasn’t sold on the orange and red at first but it worked beautifully! Maybe incorporate some blues and reds in with your purple scheme and see if that works for you. I know it’s blasphemy, but try the knot and look at their color scheme builders.
