Get a body wrap. I was talking to this girl on our honeymoon that got one the day before the wedding and lost 8 inches on her body. I guess it takes out all of the excess water weight.

The only way I’ve been successful in losing belly weight is cardio, cardio, cardio, and drinking PLENTY of water. But as you mention, that’s not much of an option for you…

Unfortunately, you can’t spot-reduce fat/inches… i would recommend the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels – even if you can only do it for two weeks, you will be able to see some difference!

Good luck!

Stop eating out, and start drinking a ton of water! I would also stop drinking pop, since that makes you bloat too. Actually, my parents lost quite a bit once my dad went on a virtually salt-free diet, so that might be something to think about. We still make our recipes the same, we just leave out any added salt and scour the shelves for products with the lowest sodium amounts.

You won’t actually lose much weight, but you won’t be bloated!

You can’t spot reduce, but I totally was going to recommend exactly the same thing as 7SevenJ9!

Do the Shred every day, cut down on your carbohydrates, sugar, alcohol and sodium, all of which will cause you to bloat. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Keep stress at a minimum.

Eat light, natural diuertics, like asparagus, dandelion root tea, and cranberry juice. Jillian has a recipe for a diueretic drink that’s pretty good. And drink a lot of water–like 80oz a day.

I won’t lie–the next two weeks will be a pull, but it’s your best shot.

I know you said that you don’t diet but I would definitely make sure to eat a healthy diet, with plenty of fiber and water, and not eat too late.  And I would get moving with some cardio and weights–I like the suggestion of the 30 Day Shred.  I don’t know if that will get you to where you want to be, exactly, but it should help.  Also, check out prevention.com, I like adding some of their workouts to my cardio routine when I start feeling out of shape.

Bustiers can cinch you in but still add some extra width, try some spanx and see if that helps to give you the shape you want without adding bulk. Also, have you tried the dress on without a corset? It might fit better then you think. One last thing with the top, a good push up bra from victoria secret can add up to 2 cup sizes and you can get them in all different colors and strap options. Bridal stores like Davids Bridal also has good bra options that might be able to help you fill out the dress on top if you want it.

Lots of water, no salt, eat some bananas (potassium helps eliminate salt/bloat) and stay away from gassy foods. Spanx is your friend, also!

drink really warm, almost hot water with lemon juice in it, it’s very good for water retention! Get a little active and go for walks or a light workout just to keep the water weight down and you’ll feel tighter on your wedding day

@coffeekitty: Yup! I was a weight loss counsellor and we told them this constantly. It’s better to drink it in the morning because it wakes you up too.

Also a secret is: For 2 days, eat 4 LARGE oranges 4 times a day, eat as many DARK GREEN vegetables, eat as much PROTEIN (chicken, beef) but keep the salt to a minimum and the dressings and sauses to a minimum as well. This cleanses your body and gets rid of all the water retention, that’s why people are so impressed when they first sign up at weight loss centres whent hey lose 2-10 lbs, it’s just water they are losing. I’ve done this and I admit I get excited every time it happens lol

You could try a good old colon cleanse.  It is supposed to make the biggest difference in the belly.  Just poop it out 🙂

Also is there a way your aunt can change the zipper (I am assuming) in the back to a corset back?  This should be a relatively easy change and will give you some breathing room.
