Well, I browse etsy a lot so you could look on there. They have several that are wood inlaid that look very pretty. They also have many custom designs on there if he gets an idea, but can’t find somebody to execute it.

There are some pretty cool rings out there that are made with your fingerprint in the design. Here is an example from etsy. You can have the print put on the inside or outside of the ring.

I was going to mention the fingerprint band as well! I saw it and loved it but in platinum it was WAY out of budget for us. But in silver it’s on par with typical band prices.

I second Jacqi and Gerbera’s suggestion of the fingerprint rings.  I think they are so cool!

We got ours at perry olsen’s website.  Very affordable, and really cool rings.

Also, search amazon for “men’s wedding rings” there were a TON of really cool rings!

My husband has the Triton one cable ring. He loves it. His friends all think it’s a really cool ring. He’s and Engineer and designs “man toys” for a living, so the ring totally suits him. It was the only ring he was interested in.

My Fiance just received his koa wood inlay ring from etsy.  I have to say that the photos of this ring did not do it justice.  I am honestly jealous of his ring it is so beautiful.

The other ring he was considering was a meteorite ring on etsy.  They are very unique and gorgeous.

These are the rings we found in this little jewlery shop in a little village in the Netherlands:

This is my FI’s band. He is very stylish but wanted something manly and he wears black a lot so he loved his ring when we found it. We got it at Zales and it was VERY affordable because it’s tungsten. It’s not exact, but similar to the picture below (also from Zales)

Check out the tungsten, seranite and titanium bands from Benchmark.  They have some differnt things, especially in the seranite.

My Boyfriend or Best Friend sent ME pictures of wedding bands he liked and he really liked the nontraditional rings… ie titanium, tungsten, and esp carbon fiber (he’s a car guy and his hood is carbon fiber)
