    @ComputerLove06:  That is such a gorgeous ring! It reminds me of this morganite ring from Blue Nile that I think is gorgeous. It has a similar coloring as well as design.

    @MissMarple:  Oh my goodness that is just gorgeous!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING IT! Yes they are extremely similar and the ring in the picture I posted is actually morganite as well.  It came from Rare Earth on Etsy but when I got in touch with the designer she said she could place a peach sapphire in the mount instead and we would just pay the difference.  I passed the info on to SO but he made it clear he wanted me OUT of the ring selection process and would look for something with my specifications but on his own through his own resources (which I think means he feels more comfortable going to a jewelry store) so I am left to see what he is able to find once he decides to pop the question.  That ring you posted, though, is so lovely! (drooling Foot in Mouth) Hope he settles on something just as stunning if not more so!

    @Mine29:

    My SO is having this ring made in Rose Gold for me ๐Ÿ™‚ I originally thought I HATED split shank rings… but as soon as this was on my finger, I was IN LOVE! Definitely make sure you try rings on in person before you tell your SO what you like. What you think you like, you may end up hating… and what you think you hate, you may end up loving! Rings look completely different in pictures and on different hands.

    Love the first!

    I couldn’t decide whether I wanted a halo with baguettes (more vintage look) or round diamonds so Fiance suggested to do both! This is the closest pic of what I want (it will probably be a hexagon instead).

    @ComputerLove06:  Hahaha, I wish I knew your Fiance so I could sneakily send it his way! I’m sure he’ll choose a ring that is at least equally beautiful to the one I posted! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    I would love to have an oval solitaire exactly like this (I love everything about it – the tapered dainty band, the low-set basket, four prongs).
    I think it would really suit me down to a tee. I do love vintage style and pave split shank solitaires, but I can’t imagine one on my hand every day. Perhaps as a right hand ring one day ๐Ÿ˜‰

    @Mine29:  This is the ring I ended up choosing:

    If that one weren’t in the picture and I could choose whatever I wanted, I’d get a solitaire (or something with a simple halo) and get a ridiculously blinged out wedding band. I’ve been seeing wedding ring stacks with solitaires and eternity bands and I’m still drooling!

    On the topic of living outside your means…if people are saying that about you, just tell them that you deserve nice things just as much as anyone else does. And if it means getting another job while you’re in school to help pay for the ring, then so be it! No one can say anything bad about hard work! Well, I’d hope not!

    I can’t decide whether I want a solataire with a plain band or a band with stones as well. I know I like 4 prongs, RB stone, white gold and a delicate band.

    These are my current ring-crushes (I stole these hand shots to save into my secret ring folder on my computer…sorry if it’s your pic!)

    @weddingclueless:  It makes me sound like a crazy person! But a girl’s gotta remember what she likes and stalk some pretty pics when she’s having a bad waiting day! ๐Ÿ˜›

    I disagree with the poll options of blingy 3-stone or simple solitaire! My main reason for wanting a solitaire is because all the money gets spent on that one blingy stone. The more money that’s spent on the setting and side stones, the less expensive and blingy that center stone will be. I’d love a 3-stone ring, but not if it means I end up with a smaller center stone.
