My one other piece of advice is to bring a few outfits or pieces of lingerie. Some things might look cute in person but don’t photograph well, and it will help to have options and let the photographer give some input for what will work best.

I had boudoir photos done on two different occasions. It was an awesome experience and the photos turned out amazing. I am not a small woman, I am 5’2” and weigh over 250lbs and I am vey insecure because of it. The photographers are used to photographing people of different sizes and levels of confidence… This is their job and how they make their money. My husband’s reaction the first time was that he was thrilled with the pictures of course but he was even happier that the photographer was able to take pictures of me in a way that I could see how he sees me. I plan to do them next year again when I turn 50. I would highly recommend getting boudoir photos done

No, but I have always wanted one. There was one local photgrapher who had a Valentine’s Day package for a reasonable price, but I second guessed myself and missed it and I kind of regret it. As a person with a developmental disability who often isn’t told they are sexy or portrayed as attractive, stuff like that is really important to me. I really want to do it some day though, I can’t really afford it right now due to the lack of a good paying job at the moment (vocational services is working on it!), but it will be something in the future definitely that I would like to do.
