We gave out playing cards and lip balm. some of our guests were playing drinking games with the cards at the reception and seemed to enjoy them. My friends are still asking me if I have any more of the lip balm because they used theirs up (we had lots of extras!). Both the playing cards and the lip balm had a sticker on them saying “stolen from _blackbird_ and hubby on oct. 5, 2013.” 😛

Yes however the favors didn’t have the intitials of the bride and groom on them but they were super cute lanterns with (fake) bumble bees on them and flowers because the groom and bride did bee keeping as a hobby 🙂 I know it sounds kinda weird but they were soooo cute!

I’m from the south so us southerners love koozies, lol. Although I have a drawer full, they come in handy!
I went to a wedding and the favors were home made jellies. Blackberry, muscadine, grape, and pomegranate. Delicious!

- Wedding: July 2015 - Golf Course
We are doing honey sticks – a 4 pack bundled together and I’ll put a little tag on them with our initials and the date or something. They are going to be in 4 flavours, which are the closest matched colours to our wedding colours as I could find 😛 (I think it’s blueberry, watermelon, pina colada, and I forget the last one).
Some people also consider the photobooth as a favour, so I guess we’re doing 2? Haha I just thought of the photobooth more as entertainment, all the weddings I’ve been to lately have done a photobooth and another favour.

I’ve never really enjoyed any favors! One was a CD of the couples favorite songs, I didn’t like any of them another was a glass coaster, only one per guest…like wth am I going to do with one. Others were mints. Ours we are not spending any extra on as we will be having a photo booth that prints out 2 prints. One for the guest and one to be put into an photo guest book. Other wise we probably wouldn’t have any favors.
