I personally love the blogs and I see nothing wrong with the individuals who write them being just that… individuals who are free to do things for their wedding however they want.

maybe they read the boards and they don’t give a crap about what the other bees think is a good idea or not, which I commend 😀

@lh526:  I personally think that anyone who can do what they want DESPITE what the masses on the Bee say (because who makes the posters on the board the authority on anything) ought to be applauded. Independent thinkers.

@Mrs. Doily:  +1

i just love blogs. i like peeking in on other people’s lives. there are definitely some posts that i skip especially since my wedding is over. i never skip the budget breakdown posts because some weddings i know are budget and look wonderful and i’m like dang how did they do that and others look crazy expensive and i’m like dannnnng that’s purty.

for the record i broke so many rules

-e std’s…it just wasn’t a high priority for us and i don’t like wasting paper

-honeyfund…we’ve lived together for 4 years and we’re not fancy types who need china (although I will inherit some at some point)

-website with registry info was included on the back of our invitation…but people still asked

Sorry, but I’m going to have to close this thread, as it seems it was started for the sole purpose of criticizing others’ wedding choices.
