@Aquaria:  Only lab created ones. I’ve never seen a natural, flawless emerald. I’m not sure they exist.

@Aquaria:  never, but I love the little ‘flaws’ and inclusions. I feel like anything else just looks like cut glass

I saw Elizabeth Taylor’s diamond from Richard burton at Christies. It was “near” flawless. no inclusion in sight.

Yes. My fiance mined a Three carat flawless in north Carolina. He traded it at the gem show in Tuscon to a well respected guy in the field of ethically sourced diamonds. The guy wanted the emerald for his wife and fiance got a flawless colorless 1.25ct diamond. I wished that I still had the pics of that stone. Stupid windows computer always crashing and took my pics with it. Goodness it was a beautiful stone. And although I don’t really dig on diamonds like most women do, I gotta say that the stone is insanely gorgeous.

I saw a D color, IF, Very good cut this past Thursday at the jewelers. It was only a .50 ct, but so white and sparkly. My husband was very impressed. .
