A wedding package on Ebay! It included the venue, food, open bar, bridal suite, basic linens and the cake. Ceremony site was also included. No one bid against me, so I won. It was legit and due to a canceled wedding they were looking to rebook on less than 3 months notice. We couldn’t choose the date, but it was a Saturday in June and was an excellent wedding (for my daughter).

Sounds like fun and we went to their open house and put our name in the raffle. We were the first ones chosen and my fiance ended up picking the correct box and we won!!

- Wedding: October 2014 - The Heathman Lodge (Vancouver)
Entered in one now….really hoping I win as it would make having my dad walk me down the aisle a posibility. He has stage 4 lung cancer and might not make it to the “real” wedding if we have to save and pay for everything on our own. I’m not sure if I’m really allowed to post this (sorry if I’m not, someone feel free to delete it) but here is the voting link.

Wow that is awesome! I never thought of looking on Ebay for contests. I guess that was more of a once-in-a-lifetime thing since the contest was because of a cancelled wedding. Great deal though.

I’m not sure if it’s allowed on here or not, but I voted for you!

The first Bridal expo I went to…..earlier that day I had a breakdown at my parents over our tight budget and how Fiance and I really dont want to contribute or spend that much on the wedding when we could be paying off student loans or saving for a house….went to the expo and won a drawing for tux rentals for him and all the groomsmen!! Every little bit helps!!

i went to a bridal show where i signed up for a bunch of stuff.
i won a gift card to pottery barn in a drawing. that was actually legit.
i also “won” free personalized champagne toasting flutes and an all expense paid honeymoon if we went to some presentation for dinnerware somewhere which was a total scam. well actually, it probably was not a scam, i think if we had really gone to the presentation, we might have really gotten the prizes, and so would 1000 other “winners.” but we didnt bother because we didnt want to have all of our information out there for other fake “winnings.”

I won a photo session and one free 8×10 print. It was a drawing at a bridal faire. I never redeemed it.
That is a pretty neat deal!!!

Wow, coincidentally I “won” the same thing!! It was laughable how excited the woman was when she called to me I’d won! We never went to the presentation either. What a scam!

I have gotten a lot of calls from people that got my name from the expo I went to. They told me I “won” a trip for my honeymoon. I could tell it was a scam just by the way she spoke haha. I got so tired of these calls that I stopped taking them. Hopefully one of them wasn’t a legit win!

right? Haha I’d never been so excited and then so disappointed so quickly in my whole life.
And ya know when there’s a car parked in a mall with a drawing signup slip beside it? SAME THING. We “won” our way into the “semi final” drawing….if we attended some presentation on something, I can’t remember what they said it was. Woohoo what a prize.
