lol, I’ve joked that I did but really I think I married the right person for me. If that means I married someone slightly less attractive than me or who isn’t smarter than me then thats just who I fell in love with.

I’m not exactly a high society debutante, so no.

No.  I love my fiance and consider him my equal and partner in life, no matter our social or economic status.  If you feel differently maybe you should evaluate your maturity and relationship.

What? No. He is perfect for me. I dont think of people in that sense, anyway…”out of my league” or “economically below me”.

No way!  My Fiance is perfect for me in every way, we are an exact match.  Neither of us is marrying “down.”

Do you feel that way about your future intended, perhaps?  Just wondering why the question, if you don’t mind answering.

Never.  I also never wonder if I’m marrying up.  I agree with Sunfire, we’re a perfect match.

Nope. Sometimes we joke around that HE is marrying down cuz I’m broke and he’s doing well for himself and I have a myriad of health problems while he has a clean bill of health. But.. yea, it’s always just joking around.. We see each other as equals.

Yep – I’ve gone there… and, guess what? it doesn’t matter.  I love Darling Husband for who he is – not the amount of money or high society his family line brings or does not bring to the table.

I’m entirely white-collar, FH grew up military and is definitely blue collar. There are socioeconomical differences I guess, but not enough to say that I’m marrying down.
