I saw this on The Knot, and thought “what a great way to commemorate the special girls standing up in the wedding!” But now what to include…?
Yes, I’m also having (ahem, forcing) my finace do a “Meet the Men”

I think that’s a great idea!!! I LOVE it! I think you should keep it centered around your relationship with them and how they came to have that role in your wedding. So how you met, what they mean to you and what they’re doing now.
Thanks for posting this, I’d never heard of it before and I really like it a lot!

I’ve never heard of this, but it’s a cool idea! How many people are in your wedding party? My thought is that concise is better. A cool photo and a short bio of the person/how you know each other sounds great. If it’s too lengthy, guests probably won’t read it, especially if you have a big wedding party. But I like the idea of giving some background on your wedding party!

It was the first I’d ever heard of it too! But I thought I just had to do it. We have an hour cockatil reception, and high top tables spread throughout the room, so I was thinking of possibly having the bridesmaid, along with the groomsman she walked with on a table, and so on thoroughout the room. So if there is 12 high top tables (I have 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen) 6 tables would have 2 frames on them. OR just having a table set up similar to the brides that I posted.
I even Googled the idea and only one thing came up on a brides website:

Cool, huh?

@missa2152: My sister and her hubby actually did that on their wedding website and it was sooooo cool! Even made me tear up a couple times! But I dont have a wedding website so maybe doing something similar to what you have in mind will be best. Hmmm…I think I’d do one separate table though. Thanks for sharing.

@angelica3025: Yes, one table would look really cool, I just thought as people stand around they might be more apt to read it if it’s right in front of them. We’ll see though. I still have SO many little details to work on!!!

I did a small tribute to our party on our website.
But, they are all such wonderful people so I may consider doing the frames!

I love this idea! The girls in my wedding are like family and I think it is very important to everyone to know about them!
I might steal this
