It definitely means you haven’t found THE dress yet.  But cheer up.  You have plenty of time to shop and feel better about your body.  It is not uncommon for brides to start dieting and exercising before their wedding so they look their absolute best (or at least not feel completely self conscious.)

I recommend checking out something like myfitnesspal.com or livestrong.com to get ideas for changing how you eat and advice on exercise plans.  Don’t think of it as a diet, think of it as a lifestyle change so you are helthier and feel more confident about yourself and your body.

Feel you. I’m already over planning this thing- I just stopped like a week ago and haven’t been looking at anything or trying to get anything on the to-do list. Too stressful about something Fi and I don’t care much about. We’d be fine running to Vegas. I just want to be back living with Fiance and doing our own thing already.

I think it’s just an ebb and flow thing. Sometimes it’s intensely exciting, sometimes you’re feeling down. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m sorry that’s getting you down ): hopefully you’ll get a second wind! there’s a dress out there that you’ll look great in, luckily you’ve got enough time to take a break and give it another stab later

I’ve definately lost my wedding lust. I think it’s mostly a money thing, it’s not like we absolutely can’t afford it, but it just feels like nothing is worth the cost anymore. Especially now since FI’s student debt is going to be way more than I anticipated, and it’s really been depressing me. I used to really excited about making our little wedding really special with all the details and stuff, now I wish we could just scrap it and elope, but we can’t do that to our families.

oh my goodness, yes! I haven’t done anything wedding related since we met with a florist, a month ago. I just don’t care anymore right now. I’m hoping I’ll shake this. ๐Ÿ˜› 9 months to go!

I’ve been there and probably will be there again.  I did a post about losing my “wedding mojo.” But it’s mostly back now.

taking time off from the wedding stuff helped.  Then the juices started flowing again.

It might not feel “real” yet since your wedding is so far away. I would hold off on dress shopping until you’re about a year out.
