I quit the pill 2 months back and I have noticed that my drive has increased, a close friend is about 20 weeks along and has told me her sex drive has increased quite a bit. She also said she loves the intamacy of her and her hubs. Needs to feel him close during the act and he is nervous about hurting the baby.
Have you noticed a change in your drive?

I have heard that for some it goes up, and others it goes down. It can also depend how far along you are. I am in my 1st trimester and mine is not only very low, but when we did have sex, it was a bit uncomfortable. Things “down there” just felt kinda sore

I think for a lot of people it will be impossible to answer “increased” or “decreased” because it often changes over the course of pregnancy. First trimester I was too sick to want anything to do with sex, second semester I had the sex drive of a horny 15-year-old boy, and now at 34 weeks it’s dropped again, not quite to first trimester levels, but probably a little lower than non-pregnant status.

Mine is still the same but sometimes I feel so huge and unsexy that that’s cut down on the amount of sex (because I’m uncomfortable) also sometimes I’m just so tired that sleep is the only thing I want to do.

Definitely less right now. I’m hoping that it makes a comeback in the 2nd trimester though! I miss sex, but not enough to give up precious sleep for it!

We still do it just as often, once a week. Always on Sundays (how’s THAT for romance?) but I seem to climax quicker. I’m not complaining but I’m super-sensitive afterwards now.

It’s increased. I loved it a lot before, but now, it’s like I’ve discovered sex again. lol I also feel much closer to him, it’s like, we created a life together. it just makes me want him more. 🙂 Oh, I’m 14wks now(enjoyed it 1st tri) not sure how it will be when I’m 30wks or so.LOL

mine definitely decreased in the first trimester. i was so nauseous and tired, sex was the last thing on my mind. im in my second trimester now (16 weeks) and it’s still low for me, not quite like last month, but since i still some nausea and am starting to feel bloated and huge, im not usually in the mood =/

@HuisWife: Did you notice it was better in a specific trimester?

It was great in all trimesters! Best, most intense O’s ever!!!! I never had any issues w/spotting or pain or anything and had a very easy pregnacy (no morning sickness). Being pregnant made me really, ummm … horny! lol! And, I am pretty sure that’s what helped start up my labor!

For some reason it decreased for me. I’m in my 2nd trimester and thought it would have gotten better now that I’m feeling better, but it hasn’t. I think we are both a little freaked to have sex knowing there is a baby inside of me. I almost feel like the baby is watching…I know its crazy! But I can’t help thinking it! We still have sex but a lot less then before we got pregnant.

Mine decreased a lot the first trimester. I’m hoping it gets better now that I’m in the second trimester. Still feeling tired, though, so I don’t know.

I’ve noticed an increase in the mornings but I think we’ve actually been having less sex overall…not because of a lack of drive but because of sleepiness and discomfort!
