Yes, I heard abut that this morning, and almost threw up.  That is so horrifying and offensive on SO many levels.

I heard about this on the radio. I was pretty disgusted. He needs to go back to high school and sit through a health course.

On NPR they were talking about how this is not a first, or second, or even third claim like this. (Some) men seem to think that women cannot get pregnant if they are “legitmately” raped.

…  what the fuck is wrong with people!!!

Un-frickin-believable !!

Someone needs to explain to him that if that was true there wouldn’t be soo many war-crime babies out there in countries where women are beaten and raped.

IF there EVER were cases where people “pray” to have those memories / babies go away it is those situations.

Here at home, this man is beyond an @ss… and makes it look like the modern women’s movement never happened, what is this 1860 ???

EDIT TO ADD – I had to come back, I was angry.  This sooo lines up with those OLD IDEAS… of “she asked for it”… “she wanted it”… “she liked it”… as if you can only get pregnant if you are enjoying it.  Sick, sick, sick… excuse me while I barf !!

Well he did use the qualifying statement ‘from what I understand’.

They just need a law in place that people have to know things and not just have a fuzzy understanding before any policies are made/bills drafted/bills passed.  Of course, very few policies would actually be made in that case.

@PixelMePretty: I love The Onion lol, that article was great. I am just going to believe that that was what he was actually trying to say because it makes the idea that I actually have to share the same planet as that scumbag so much more palatable.
