The only time I have seen him cry is when he was telling me about how his mom passed away.

He doesn’t cry often, but when he does, I usually cry to because he breaks my heart.

Last night he cried because we had an argument which left me feeling like I was alone and not a priority in that moment. I was explaining to him how he made me feel and he started crying. I hate that I made him feel so bad for his actions… I knew he already felt bad after he realized what he had done, but I just wanted to explain where I was coming from (I did react pretty strongly, with good reason). It broke my heart, but I needed t commmunicate with him so that it didn’t happen again.

Side note: I was never a crier until I met him… now I cry all of the time. I think it has to do with the fact that I was just used to “Dealing” on my own and now he’s given me a place to turn to so I get emotional. Weird though

A few times. When we broke up for a few days and he wanted to get back together, when we had to put our dog down and when he shared something traumatic from his childhood.

Yes! He can get emotional over movies or when we have really deep, honest conversations. I absolutely adore how vulnerable he is.

In 4 years, I don’t think I have ever seen him cry. Once I think I saw him wipe a tear when his dad went to the emergency room, but I never asked him about it. My heart would break if I saw him cry.

As for me, he has seen the water works plenty of times.

Three times. Once when we had a slight boating accident and I had a head injury that needed a trip to emergency, once when I had a horrible allergic reaction in a country where he didn’t speak the language and there really weren’t ambulances (that was scary for both of us), and once when we were at his grandmother’s funeral. πŸ™

A few times- during fights, while I was walking down the aisle, and when he walk telling me how much he hates that his mom smokes cigarettes.

we were friends for 7 years before we dated. We slept together one night and in the next morning, he does not remember either, and cried when I took it as a one night stand. It broke his heart. His parents heard about it as well as a couple mutual friends. That was in 2009. He teared up when he proposed, 2014 and at the wedding 2015. Usually I’m the teary one.

When his mother had a heart attack as well. We went to see Brave the next day and he cried during the scene where she was losing her mother. I felt so bad. It was 3 in the afternoon and was consoling a big tough man in the middle of a Disney movie. He is a Ron Swanson but big moments make him cry

Yes. Once when I was going to leave about 5 years ago, and once when we buried his mother. πŸ™

Just once in 6 years together! We got in a giant fight about 6 mo after we started dating and it had been a long day for him. It also ended up being the first time we said I love you, so he hates that memory πŸ™ he also swears that he cried one single tear at the end of Les Mis, but I’m pretty sure that’s not true. Lol

Twice. Once in the early stages of our relationship. He had had a “few” beers and forgot about plans we made. I expressed my displeasure at being forgotten. He felt horrible and told me how I was too good for him and cried. The second time was discussing the death of his mom. πŸ™

Yes, during a few fights, and whenever he watches any sad sports movies (Any Given Sunday, We Are Marshall, etc).

I’ve only ever seen DH cry because of laughing so hard at me that he teared up so much. Other than that, DH is not a crier at all. I’ve never really seen him cry because of sadness/anger/emotions. Though there was one time when we were lying in bed and talked about our future plans together (we were still BF-GF at the time), then he closed his eyes and i saw that they started tearing up a bit, but then he rolled with his back towards me as if he didn’t want me to see him cry so I didn’t ask about it either. I wish i could see his emotional tears more often though.

The first time I seen him cry was on our wedding day. The second time I seen him cry was when we first watched our wedding dvd. It was so sweet πŸ™‚

Yes, once when we had a big fight and the other time when we had to put our dog to sleep. πŸ™
