(Closed) Have you tried the 30 day shred?

I did it for a few weeks.  It killed but I lost like 3 pounds the first week. I stopped doing it because we started walking and swimming now that the weather’s warm but it definitely worked.

I have 5 JM tapes and 30 Day Shred is my least favorite. I like Ripped in 30 better and kick boxing is a good work out too. I’m not one who does the same work out every day either though…That gets too boring for me.

@pandaboo:  I was curious too if the JM dvds worked and were enjoyable/tolerable. My honey is the one that wants to shed a few pounds for the wedding and he is “dieting” similar to you. I would approach diet soda with caution though. The fake sugars they use haven’t been around long enough to know the long term affects. A friend of mine got really dependant on Diet Coke and they actually started giving her serious migraines so she had to “quit.” Also, when you consume artificial sweeteners, it doesn’t get rid of your craving for sweets. (Getting rid of or lowering your sugar cravings is IMO much more beneficial).

At the same time, I don’t know how often you drink diet soda… I just wanted to caution you against drinking more than 1 or 2 a day (the migraine friend was drinking 4 on average. yikes.) Just wanted to give you something to think about!

30 Day Shred is one of my favorite JM DVDs. Even know when I’m in pretty good shape it gives me a good workout, I just combine the segments. It’s hard for beginners but totally worth it. I’m not crazy about Ribbed in 30 and I also really like No More Trouble Zones.
