We found a photographer who was willing to work with our budget; she responded to our inquiry the same day on Tuesday.
She seemed really friendly and willing to modify her packages to help us, and wanted to setup a time to chat. So I emailed her back the same day with the specifics of what we were looking for, …and I haven’t heard anything back. So it’s been about 3 days now.
Should I send her another follow-up “did you get my last email?” email?

I would give it 5-7 days, wedding season is starting and she must be very busy. My photographer takes about 2 weeks on average to get back to us.

send her a new email or try re-sending the old, she could of not gotten it the 1st time around.

I’d wait a few more days. This exact same thing happened to me. I was considering sending a follow up email, but I waited. A week after I sent the initial email the photographer got back to me. She had been busy dealing with a pregnancy complication so she couldn’t get to all of her emails. After a week I would probably resend the email.

@LadyMoriarty: If you haven’t booked with her yet, she should respond within a day or 2, 3 days max. However, things come up or emails are sometimes lost in the “interwebs” & I would call her instead. Some people just aren’t as good with email (though I think they should be – now we have smartphones & can access emails instantly), but will respond to calls much faster. Or can you text her? You could also ask what method of contact they prefer – emails, calls, texts? I’ve been asked that before & no matter how they contacted me, I would get back to them… for me, texting is usually fastest, then email, then calls.
Could be, depending on what you asked, that she has to do a little research or is waiting to hear back from someone else, etc. Like if another bride said they wanted to book your same date but never sent in a contract/deposit & she’s waiting to hear back if they’re still interested or not.
I’d just call today. Weekends are usually the busy days for photographers… so call soon!

@canthugallcats: Yeah, in her last email she wanted to set up a time to “meet” but I’m in CA, and she’s in NY (where we’re having our wedding) so in my reply email I let her know that fact, and know that I was more than happy to Skype or talk on the phone. She’s young though, so I think she’s pretty good with technology. I’ll wait until Monday and then shoot her an email first thing in the morning.I just don’t know what to say in the email… “Hey, did you get my last email?” ?

I know a lot of my real email has been going in spam lately. Have you checked your spam? Maybe she hasn’t checked hers ?
