So, I haven’t seen this thread yet and its funny, because it just crossed my mind today driving home from work.
How are you having your bridal party introduced during the reception?
-As couples, or singles, etc?
-Are they doing anything special when they walk in? (Standing in a circle, wearing sunglesses, pointing to bride and groom when introduced, etc)
I know our bridal party is being introduced in couples (same as when they walked down the isle). Both our parents made a request to not introduce them (they want it to be about us :shrugs shoulders: ) And they’re walking in to Ice Cube “Check yo’ self”. 🙂
Of course there will be funny dancing and men showing off, etc. We thought about sunglasses, but not sure. What about all you bees??!?!

One of my favorite wedding entrances was for a friend’s wedding. We’re from the Pittsburgh area, and the groomsmen waved Terrible towels as they entered, and the bride and groom both waved them! It was definitely fun and festive… especially since it was near the Superbowl! (She got married, went to Disneyworld, and won the Superbowl all in one week!)

In the wedding I was in this summer they had us go is as couples, with the person you walked down the aisle with. We walked in to Just Dance by Lady Gaga, they introduced each couple and we danced in, my partner and I did the arm wave as we walked in, it was so much fun!

Well my wedding party is all fun people so one day I was watching Ellen (best show ever IMO) and she played “Tambourine”, by EVE and if youve never heard the song, you have to. Its an up beat kinda rap song but because I have elderly the beginning maybe 30 seconds is all I am playing, its a really awesome beat and I am having the party come in how they went down aisle and they will have little tambourines lol. It says Shake your tambourine go and get yourself a whistle and…
Shake your tambourine go and get yourself a whistle and… so on haha its such a fun song and I get goosebumps when I listen to the song 🙂

Ours walked in pairs like they left the ceremony. They walked in to “Chicken Fried” by Zach Brown and then dispursed because the dance floor area wasn’t too big and when we walked in we went straight into our first dance.

I know we are having the bridal party walk in to “I Believe in A Thing Called Love” by The Darkness. I’m pretty sure they will be walking in as couples, but we may have an uneven number of groomsmen to bridesmaids.

I’m pretty set on having the bridal party (and us as a married couple) walking in to How you like me now by The Heavy… I just LOVE the instrumental part/beat.
