I am having 6 girls stand with me… 4 bridesmaids, a maid of honor (my older sis) and a maron of honor (my mom).

Fi has 5 guys so far… but no best man.  He didn’t want to choose between his cousins. if my other younger bro can make it to the wedding, fi will end up with 6 guys as well.

4 bridesmaids (incl the maid of honor)

3 groomsmen (incl the best man)

I added a 4th bridesmaid and it was a colossal mistake, I should have just kept it at 3. I did it out of kindness and sympathy and it ended up costing me $500 and now she’s vanished.  Awesome.

We have six on each side – plus 4 ushers to boot!  My fiance has been in tons of weddings so it was hard for him to narrow it down a bit.  I wish would could have kept it small but oh well – I love my ladies!  I let each of my girls pick out their own dress from David’s.  They just had to be black and long…the rest was up to them.

Wanna know something funny…two of the them picked out the same dress.  Go figure right?!

Not engaged yet, but I have the plan in my head, Lol Tongue Out

Including my Maid/Matron of Honor and Matron-OH, 6 girls. My SO mentioned a long time ago who he would have as his Best Man, and 3 other friends as GM(so theres 4). I have the 5th Groomsmen now, because he and I became close with a couple, and the wife is a Bridesmaid or Best Man, so they will be paired up. Now lucky Groomsmen #6, Cmon down! Lol, hes been a Groomsmen several times, hell find someone easily.

Its so hard to not cut the group smaller, and not make it even bigger at the same time, but we have a good group of friends. GAHH!!

I had 1 Maid/Matron of Honor and 5 Bridesmaids. It was a little too much to handle, but I just couldn’t not ask all of them!

I had my sister as my moh. She walked down the aisle ahead of me but didn’t stand with us because my husband didn’t want a best man and we thought it would look awkward for only one of us to have someone standing next to us.

I want 3 but Fiance only wants 1. So I have no clue what we will do!

We have 2 friends, each of our best friends standing with us and that is it. It was tough to choose between my best friend and my sister, but my best friend and I are so close that I just knew in my heart it was what I wanted.

@soontobeMrsBoo:  We’re pretty similar.

Me: sisters and three friends (5 total)

Him: brother and two friends (3 total)

We’ve gotten some pressure to even out the sides but it felt artificial. We’re also going low key, using dresses and suits the Wedding Party already owns.

8 on my side and 7 on his (that’s including the Maid/Matron of Honor and Best Man). I know that’s a lot, but these are a group of girls I’ve been really close with for over a decade and I just couldn’t only ask some of them and not the others.

I’m really happy with my decision though. I love my friends and they’re all so genuinely excited and lovely about everything. No bridesmaid drama here, thankfully! It’ll be a little crowded in the photos but it was more important to me that they all be there and feel included.
