I am having a super difficult time selling a brand new Lazaro ball gown (style 3152). I jumped the gun on buying a wedding dress because I hated the whole gown shopping process (my mother is deceased and I constantly found myself crying and just wishing she were there whenever I’d shop) and I purchsed a gown prior to actually finalizing our venue. I have since purchased a differnet dress for my wedding but am having a really difficult time selling the gorgeous tulle Lazaro ball gown. Anybody else having a hard time selling their dresses? It is brand new and has all tags attached and I just didn’t think I’d still have it hanging from my ceiling months after picking it up from Lazaro

You can post it on Craig’s list or preownedweddingdresses.com like I have! Most successful website to see new and used wedding dresses. I also am selling my brand new dress. Since I’ve posted it on that Preownedweddingdress website I’ve had like 6 people contact me

@csfbride: I have sold 4 dresses (yes I had 5 dresses at one point), but all the dresses I sold were less than $175 each and brand new with tags. All 5 of them didn’t go over $850, so we’re talking smaller numbers here.
I would go to preownedweddingdresses.com. You’ll have to pay $25 but it’s worth it for higher priced gowns as it gets a lot of traffic and has good search engines.
I see there are two Lazaro #3152 for sale on there now for $2100 each – one new and one used. Not sure what you are asking, but I would mark down my own dress a tad more, like $1999 or less. That way you’d get anyone searching fo gowns $2000 or less. And if they see the same gown same size, they are going to pick the lesser expensive one.
However, that is still a lot to pay for a gown that someone has never tried on in person. When you get an interested party, send them lots of upclose photos of the gown, not just stock photos. You might want to capture a nicely lit video of yourself moving in the gown which you can offer to send the link to any potential buyers.

You may also want to see if a bridal consignment store will take it off your hands. They may want to replenish their stock of dresses or agree to sell yours in exchange for a percentage.

you are? I happen to already purchased this dress but I watch it on preowned and from what I can tell two out of the three on there sold in maybe a month. Maybe post pictures of you in the dress. I feel like that helps sometime.

@Mrs. Charlotte: I posted it on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com a few months ago and I’ve had a few inquiries but people seem to want to pay only $1,000 for it and I just can’t part with it for such a low price. I’ve also noticed that my exact same dress has sold multiple times on the site and that’s that mine is NEW and all others were USED which makes it so frustrating to see The dress is just too beautiful not to be worn! I haven’t wanted to take pics of me in it just because I want to leave it on the hanger but I think I might just have to do that to switch it up a bit. THANK YOU!!!
