5-31-14 isn’t pretty sounding… but it’s easy for FH to remember, because it’s the last day of the month.

I live even numbers too, I can’t help but feel a little weird about getting married in 2013. I’m really not crazy about the way the numbers sound (9/14/13) it just feels weird to say, but the timing was right so that’s what really matters. 🙂

I used to feel the same way as many Bees about 13 but our first date was 7/13. It was lucky for us then so a 2013 wedding seemed perfect. Then he proposed 8/17/11 and 8/17/13 fell on a Saturday so we just went with it.

Man, I’m actually a wee bit jealous of those getting married in 2013. My Fiance and I thought this year would be too soon and we love the idea of a fall wedding AND a slightly longer engagement. (I tend to research and have a tough time deciding on almost EVERYTHING, so I would have felt rushed to do it in ’13).

I know some people are superstious about the number 13, but think of it like this: you’re getting married in ’13, even with the “bad luck” superstition because the relationship is (and marriage will be) so much stronger than some “unlucky” number. I feel like marriage is what you make it. So give it a positive spin!

My first wedding was 7-1-00, and I LOVED getting married in ’00!

I get what you mean! It’s part of the reason I didnt’ want to push it back, June 8th just sounds so nice. The 2013 part isn’t as nice….but it was that day or wait a few years.

my fi originally picked 09/13/13 because he wanted to get married on a Friday the 13th, he picked it before we were even engaged and even put a silly reminder on his phone for that date

then we actually got engaged and decided on 03/13/13. We both loved that date and even had a sign made. Then everything changed so we could surprise my mom with our wedding and the whole family getting together for her 70th birthday so now our date has no meaning, but we did get a new MR & MRS sign with the new date so he can just look at the wall to remember our anniversary.

I didnt like the sound of 2013. And I didnt like 6/7 or 6/21 because they were uneven so I chose my date because it was 6/14/14. Very easy to remember and pretty!

my favorite bible verse is Romans 8:31, so we got married on 8/31/12 in a small ceremony with just our immediate family, so having the big wedding with the rest of our family and friends on our 1-year anniversay, 8/31/13, which perfectly lands on a Saturday this year 🙂

We’re getting married on the Ides of March. I think that’s plenty melodious-sounding 😀

I’m getting married on 7/13/13!! Fiance was born on Friday the 13th so are his two best friends in our wedding so it worked out well. BUT the wedding is not a Friday because I wouldn’t let that happen lol.

I like odd numbers…and the number 13.  I think about design and keeping things in 3’s.  My name has three e’s and three t’s.  11 is my favorite number…but it’s also symmetrical lol.  So I dunno, we’re June 22nd 2013.  Maybe we’ve just seen it a lot now so that it feels pretty and easy on the eyes.
