@Nic01: A little part of me really wants my trip too!! (I won’t fly pregnant cos I’m a nervous flyer and usually need wine to get on the plane!) I was very well travelled as a kid and am determined my kids will be too. So at least we’ll both be still travelling when we have kids!
@TigerLily13: Mmmm, I’m adding margaritas to my list of things to do! Yum!

UPDATE: I’ve been thinking about this thread for a few weeks now & thought I’d check back in.
5 months later & all we’ve got is BFN’s. On top of that it’s depressing that we haven’t been able to do ANY of the travel we’ve been wanting to 🙁
Our first trip was June but life took its turn & we ended up moving interstate to be closer to family as mum was ill. The good news is that mum is much better. The bad news is that we left our comfy jobs and lifestyle and are currently unemployed and living with family. Obviously this means there is NO travel (ie back up plan) is on the cards.
Feeling let down, disapointed. I want a baby more than anything but i know that we will be blessed when the time is right. Travel is my outlet & don’t have that either!
Funny how some things work out :/

Nic01: Sorry to hear you haven’t had any luck yet 🙁 I remember following your wedding plans as we were both in the same city. Darling Husband and I plan to start TTC early next year (after our big South America Trip in Dec/Jan, we love our travel too) and I’m nervous given my mother’s history and my various health stuff too. Hope you guys can find some work soon and a BFP. Great that your mum is in better health though!

Nic01: Boo!! I can definitely relate, as we’ve now been married for 20 months and have neither baby nor travel to show for it! Now that your mom is doing better, maybe you can plan an inexpensive weekend getaway or explore your current city? It definitely helps to have things to look forward to besides TTC. Best of luck in the job search!
