    I think it’s fine, it’s for people who don’t know what else to get or don’t like anything on the list. And the “point”  putting it on the list is also so they can send it directly to the wedding and you don’t have to pick it up. Also, I don’t think it’s fair to say that cohabitating couples shouldn’t get household gifts. What else is there? Just because you live together doesn’t mean you have the things you want. My boyfriend and I live together but we have an odd mish mash of household items. When we register, we will register for our first “real” set of “adult” items.
