My wedding is a year out and I think I may have bought my dress to early (It’s been about month, since I bought it) eek. I have tried it on three different times before the purchase and thought I really loved it. After I made the purchase, I went back to try it on again. My smile hasn’t changed, except for maybe a bigger smile. My dilemma, my dress is very simple, however, I think my dress needs more beading. I am thinking about adding beads that accent baby blue. I want it to sparkle a little more. My dress has a tiered chiffon style and I was thinking about making the bottom part of the dress sparkle with some glitter (not a lot of glitter, just enough to get the sparkling effect, you know that little bit of shine when the light hits it). I keep telling myself I should have kept looking, instead of jumping on buying this dress. Is this normal for brides to go through this?
I will post a picture of my dress and please tell me what you think. 🙂
As a side note: This was not the first dress I tried on, I did try on like 10 different dresses from 3 different bridal salons before making this purchase.

I think it’s beautiful the way that it is.

I really do like it the way it is! play it up with your jewlery, headpiece/veil and makeup!

I think your dress is beautiful.
Maybe if you want more “bling” you can do that through your accessories or veil?

I would do baby blue accents with accessories, like a hairpiece. You could also look into changing the ivory tie on the corset to blue, but the dress is gorgeous even without alterations!

Thanks everyone! I never thought about the accessories. I was so caught up in trying to personalize or change my dress that I completely forgot about adding accessories, which is easily forgotten by someone like me, who doesn’t play dress up too often.

@happyface: it’s exciting! But a little overwhelming at the same time.

I think your dress is just perfect the way it is! I think that feeling of doubt your having is that you think you bought it too early. I think trust your gut instinct…you loved it when you bought it, and you still do!
I don’t think you should add anything else, and I agree with the others, just add some bling jewelery! You don’t want the bling of the dress to be the first thing people see, you want it to be you, and then how awesome you look in your dress.

It’s beautiful! Go with your feelings, not ours.
