I have 2 Maid/Matron of Honor, 7 BMs and 1 JBM. Since all the girls are spread throughout 4 different regions, I created a facebook group where I show them ideas to get feedback. They’re all so easy going and are all in pretty good shape. I would say the “hardest to dress” will be my sister because she is 5″11″, has big boobs and is probably the most self conscious because she’s had three kids and does not want tightness around her stomach. That said, she’s been as easy going about the process as anybody else.
Anyway, I guess my problem is that I’m trying to find something to look good on everybody but still be a reflection of me. The body types in my wedding range from tall and rail thin, to short and busty, so I was going to give the girls a color, fabric and designer and have them pick their own dress. All this, and I’m still having trouble making a decision.
My wedding is in July and I know I really need to make a decision. The color I LOVE is a dusty, muted turquoise (Think Dusty Shale by J Crew) I also love navy and mint. Champagne too. My wedding will be an antique garden theme, somewhere between semi casual and semi formal. I love lace and chiffon, but I’m not married to them (no pun intended!)
Here are some of my ideas, please tell me what you think!
Idea 1: BMs in Adrianna Papell lace dresses in Navy and the MOHs in champagne

My other idea is long flowy chiffon Bari Jay dresses in Misty Blue. I really like the ones with the twisted and woven bodices.

If you have suggestions that would be great! I want the price to hoover around $150, or cheaper. I need help!

Those are Beautiful choices! Have you looked into Convertible dresses? I use some by henkaa.com. I had girls of all shapes and sizes so they worked out great for me and there’s no alterations necessary ( only two sizes 2-14 and 14-24; short or long). my girls where all over the US. Plus the best part is the girls can really truly wear them again. Lol

I did consider the infinity dresses but because I have a few girls who are really top heavy, I’m nervous… How “supportive” are they? Can you share pics?

With the dresses they also sell tub tops separately to give more coverage. All my girls were C cup or bigger.

I love the third one in your original post! I am wearing something similar to that style, minus the lace, next April for my friend’s wedding. Myself and the two other bridesmaids (all different shapes) all looked great in the high neckline and slightly flared skirt (deep red coloured, too, which is a bonus coz I love red!).

Deffffffinitely the lace dresses! Those ones are gorgeous and I’d love to wear that dress afterwards. The other dresses would just (hopefully) get resold after the wedding. To me that’s a waste of money.
