why do you have to choose one? You can have uneven sides.

I would hate to be chosen as a dress-filler. I agree with PP, just have uneven sides. Don’t replace.

I wouldn’t really consider the ring bearers & flower girl in my numbers.

@asianyoushi:  and that’s not really a bad thing. A lot of people have uneven sides. If I was the additional Bridesmaid or Best Man that was picked now mhy feelings would be hurt. I wouldn’t like it & I’d feel like second best.

Any Bridesmaid or Best Man you pick will know she’s not your first choice and that will probably hurt her feelings. I’d just keep the wedding party the same and have uneven sides

I had a bridesmaid fill in last minute (husband’s sister)… she ended up wearing my MOH’s dress and my moh got a new one that was different from all the others- worked out well. Also i was asked to fill in last minute for a friend (her bridesmaid who lives out of the country wasn’t sure if she would be able to make it). I gladly stepped up and had no hard feelings about it, i was happy that i could be there for her. Her original bridesmaid came through and was able to make it to the wedding- was super happy that her friend could make it, stepped down and had a great time at the wedding.
