Ok, so I haven’t tried any of these dresses on yet, but I love the overall shape and know that it looks good on me. I live in a tiny town so I have to travel if I want to try on dresses.
Now we are having a small, intimate wedding (about 10 people, no attendants)followed by a larger dinner (about 70 people) at our favorite restaurant (Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse). I am wearing the dress to both events.
I am 5’1″, about 120 lbs, curvy, and I plan on wearing at least 3 inch heels. I love all three dresses, and they are very close price wise at the shop I am looking at.
I don’t have anyone to go with me, well I have a sister but we don’t agree on anything fashion wise, so I’m trying to get a feel for how others view the dresses. The photos are in the same order as the poll, or at least should be.

First, I HIGHLY recommed you try on each dress (or at least as absolutely close to the same style as possible) before buying.
I voted for #1 because, although with 3″ heels you’ll be taller, I think the bottoms of #2 and #3 would overwhelm your frame and I personally like the style of #1 the best.

Oh, I will definitely try on before I buy anything. I just want opinions from someone other than my sister because she hates all of them.

I chose the second dress because I personally like it the best – but you are the one whose opinion matters most. I also like the first one very much, but I prefer the chiffon skirt on the second. Very soft and cloud-like, which I find beautiful. I do like the unique neckline on the back of the third dress, but I do not like bubble skirts.
If you can pull off that dress shape, they will probably all look stunning on you! Good luck and have fun!

I voted for the Vera Wang — I am similar size as you and my dress cut is most similar to the Vera so I have a better picture of what it would look like. The top two dresses although hey are lovely they don’t elongate us – they appear more mermaid vs. more modified A-line.
Regardless – – You will look beautiful in any of them

Going by just these pics, these are my rankings:
1. Liv Harris
2. Vera Wang

I love #3!! I like the #2 also. They all look great until you try them on and find out what you don’t like about them.

You are the same size and height as me except I weigh 115….I like #1 but to be honest how things look on pictures and how they look on are 2 different things. I am also curvy but I found that when I tried on more fitte ddresses they made me look boxy even with my curves..The sales lady made me try on a poofy dress but was fiited on the top and waist and let me tell you I loved it. its best to try on all my different sillouettes.

I like the second dress. Its so timeless and still trendy, and slightly sexy. I like that kinda silhouette. The first dress is nice but I don’t like the sash at the knee.

Well, I love them all for now. My sister didn’t like the sash on the first one, the second one all she said was that is a huge freakin flower (in the chiffon on the skirt) which for her means a big no, the third I haven’t shown her yet but she probably won’t like the bubble hem.
@ Pat291: Normally I would go for a poofy dress, but since our wedding is so scaled back I don’t think it would fit the overall look.
Which is also the only issue I have with the Vera Wang dress; I’m afraid it is “too much” for our small celebration. But I like that the straps fall off the shoulders and thought that would be a little different because almost every wedding I have been to lately the dresses are strapless. My wonderful other half told me tonight he likes the Marisa the best. I think I’m going to call on Monday for an appt.

I really like the second one but you should definitely try them all on to make sure that is the one that looks the best!
