There have been a few times I’ve emailed my florist with some changes and asking for advice on things and I have to email 3 and 4 times to get her to respond. We have decided to do our own centerpieces which she knew we were considering, and i emailed her to tell her we decided to go ahead with that part on our own, but also talked about all the other things we still want her to do. I listed some changes I wanted for the bouquets and sent some pictures for the flower girl and accent pieces. I asked for a new updated quote with the new changes. That first email was sent a week and a half ago, and I sent a follow up email a few days ago. I still haven’t heard back and I don’t want to call as I’m mad and don’t want to put my foot in my mouth. I’m sick of having to chase her down. She runs her own business and has a different day job so it’s to like I can go to her boss to complain. Is this something I should even worry about? Is this normal for vendors, or should I be expecting her to be prompt? Should I just be patient and wait for her to get back to me, or am I right to be concerned about always chasing her down? What do you think?
