I know this doesn’t have a lot of geeky elements to it (being a geek myself!), but here is a pretty inspiration board with Halloween colors:

If you’re looking to determine colors, I would check out a lot of the combinations there– she makes pretty much any color combo look good!

I have seen a lot of geek wedding posts at http://kotaku.com/, mostly of cakes, but there have been a few rings and other elements posted that might help.

Basically if I were you, I would try to pick either one or two complementary geek things you like (too many totally different things might be overwhelming), or pick things that all fit within a color scheme?

Maybe you should require your guests to dress as geeks for their halloween costumes.

We’re having a nerdy/1950s/Halloween wedding!

We’re doing retro horror/zombie movie posters as our table numbers. You could do different video games, levels from video games, etc. I’m making my Fiance a Tardis grooms cake. (He’s a huge Dr. Who nerd too). We’re doing a candy/dessert buffet so that our guests can “trick or treat”. Our cardbox is a little monster that I made from a black mailbox. We’re taking some of our pictures inside a haunted house that I work for. Our cake topper is a little clay Cthulhu figure I made. There’s some other stuff that I cant think of right now…..

You could have a nerdy cake, do a super nerdy theme, have a full-on costumed halloween theme, make silly decorations (use legos, etc, that sort of thing).

Here’s some nerd inspiration for you. lol

also, the tag from Offbeat Bride

Also check our Rock N Roll Bride or the indiebride forums. They have some good stuff.
