Looking to host my desintation wedding in Hawaii, I was thinking Maui but really open. I am hoping to get married at a hotel or some place that is all inclusive so we do not need to worry about anything! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

We got married last May on Oahu. We only had 10 guest and we rented a huge house forever, I didn’t want a resort…so I’m not very helpful, I reckon lol. But here’s some pics-

I was going to send a message but I don’t think you can do pics that way? Oh well I’ll just put them here

So this was on the Big Isand at the Sheraton Kona. It was a BEAUTIFUL resort. About 20 min drive from shops and stuff though, I bit more secluded than most resorts. But there is a snorkling place within walking distance. You can do manta ray dives right outside the resort!!!
Everything was so gorgeous. Bride did have a couple of issues with her wedding coordinator. The lady, I think her name was Christina, was slightly MIA the day before the wedding, and they still needed to pick the reception location!!! But they found someone else that day who was wonderful. And their planner was there the day of.

We are having 12-15 guests on Maui. We all rented some VRBO’s to keep costs down and are having the ceremony on the grass at merrimans and dinner in the restaurant cabana afterward. Hawaii doesn’t really have all inclusives, so you may want to keep that in mind.

I’m getting married on the Big Island in April at the Sheraton Kona! We are renting a group of four houses on the same property that we found on VRBO for our families to stay in for the week. We’re also having the reception at the houses – is going to be a pool party with food trucks 🙂
I chose the Big Island because it was the most cost effective, with an abundance of places to stay (VRBO, AirBnb, and HomeAway) and things to do (stargazing on Mauna Kea, horseback riding into Waipi’o Valley, hiking, snorkeling, an active volcano, white sand beaches…).
