I would definitely do a helicopter tour and Pearl Harbor.  I wanted to go on the LOST tour when I visited, but I didn’t get a chance.  It sounded pretty awesome though.  As far as luaus go definitley do the Feast at Lele on Maui.  It’s the best luau I’ve ever been to.  It’s right on the beach and the food is amazing.  I also highly recommend taking surfing lessons.  Even if you’re terrible at it, it’s surprisingly fun.

mandy102: Just FYI, swimming with dolphins is illegal in Hawaii (in the United States in general; it’s a federal law) – you need to stay at least 150 feet away. Many tourists have this swimming with dolphins fantasy, but the constant harrassment is harming the spinner dolphin populations here. Please don’t contribute to the problem; enjoy them from the shore or from at least 150 feet away.

We went to Hawaii a couple of years ago and I 110% suggest doing the Feast at Lele luau in Lahaina Maui. Seriously it was amazing and the food was fantastic. We had looked into the Old Lahaina Luau, but opted for this one and don’t regret it at all. Its a little more intimate than most touristy luaus that have giant buffets and are super cheesy. This has a gourmet, seated menu which is delicious and all drinks included. The earlier you book the better table you get. Either way you’ll have a fabulous time in Hawaii!

Check out pleasantholidays.com I am not sure how much it will cost where you live. They are the cheapest that I have found.

In Oahu, I loved: Hanauma Bay, Lanikai Beach, Kailua Bay Beach Park, Pearl Harbor and Pali Lookout. We wanted to go to Kaneohe Bay but didn’t get to plan that so that’s on top of our itinerary when we return. 🙂
