I am planning a wedding in Hawaii in Sept.
booked my chapel for 10:30 and thinking about a restaurant dinner at Orchids.
Do you think my guests will be upset to have the morning and dinner booked for my fiance and I? or do you think they will be fine with it??
if it’s a restaurant reception (no dance, no speeches since the restaurant said it’s not allowed)….how would i word it in the invitation?? do i need to make a different card for it? or can i just word it shortly in the invitation card?
i’m thinking if the set course wedding menu…
need help since I just moved to Japan to be with my fiance…and not many Japanese people know western wedding ways….thank you in advance.

@akina912: Hi and congratulations on getting the ceremony booked! I don’t have any experience/knowledge about long time lags between the ceremony and reception, but I have seen threads on that very topic. Definitely do a search to find them!
As for the stationery, I would have a separate reception card from the invitation since there’s more information than one line can address. Maybe something along the lines of:
at time o’clock in the evening

I’m answering a little late, but this plan is fine! If your guests can’t entertain themselves here in Hawaii, they won’t be able to enteratian themselves anywhere! A gap is fine in a location like this with so much to do in between.
