If it was in my budget, I’d go microblading.

I’m not familar with HD brows, but I think microblading can look great when done by someone whoknow what their doing! The permance of microblading is what has turned me off to it though. I’m pretty picky about my brows, so I don’t like the idea of someone else putting something semi-permanent on my face.

If you have thin brows and want less of a commitment, I’d go for a tint and buy an Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil. I looove the look of the brow wiz. I use it literally everyday. It’s thin enough that you can fill in your brows lightly and still look very natural even if your brows are sparce.

I got my brows microbladed: I did three sessions because I started with nothing (I have pale blonde hairs) and my skin is super oily so the pigment was absorbed and I love it. It’s cost $450 for all three sessions and I spaced them out among 4 months. I highly recommend it, just make sure you find a good artist, otherwise you could end up with a botched job.

I got my brows microbladed and did three sessions versus the more common two sessions because I started out with super sparse thin brows and wanted a stronger full brow. Best decision I have ever made…aside from marrying my husband 😄. It has changed my life…it would take me at least 20 minutes a day to get my brows to look how they do now but not even as nice.

My advice is really do your research on an artist. Many artists that do microblading are still a one person show so they post all their work on Instagram and I followed quite a few for a while and through viewing their work and asking them questions, I picked an artist whose style was what I wanted for myself. For me..it was worth the initial cost and will be worth all the touch up costs down the line.

All I know is I love my microbladed brows. Worth every cent. If you tint them it’ll probably look good for a bit but it seems like that’s a lot of upkeep. I’ve never heard of HD brows so I can’t comment on that one.

I think microblading looks great, and I would love to do it.. but I’m worried that I won’t be happy with them down the road. Full brows are in right now (and I’m so glad about that!), but they may not be in 5 years or 10 years.

I got my eyeliner tattooed on 5 years ago. I loved it for the first year or so, but I hate it now – mainly because I want to do my eyeliner differently than I did 5 years ago. There are some days where I use concealer to cover up my eyeliner so I can achieve a different look, which takes more time that it would to just apply eyeliner in the first place.

The tattoo eyeliner was also supposed to be “semi-permanent” and advertised that it will fade to next to nothing within 5-7 years MAX..but mine has not faded other than looking like a very dark gray instead of a bold black – still very much there, though. So I don’t know how much I believe about it being semi-permanent instead of permanent.

ETA: Not trying to convince you not to do it – I just like to share my experience because I wish someone would have told me before I got my eyeliner tattooed – but semi permanent makeup was very new back then, and I’m sure it has changed over the years.

I am so confused!  It’s just threading?

I had microblading done only a few weeks ago, and I love them! Just wish I’d had them done sooner! Ha!

After overplucking and them being extremely fair compared to my hair colour – trying to pencil them in every morning with a toddler became impossible!

I wanted them as natural as possible and that’s exactly what I’ve got! Believe it or not people ask for them to look ‘fake’ too apparently so I didn’t feel so silly asking for ‘natural brows’ haha.

Where are you in the UK? Happy to recommend the girl who did mine or send pics of before and after 🙂

I was just talking with the girl that does my lashes yesterday bc she does microblading as well.  I really want to do it but for some reason it makes me so nervous!  Like what if I hate them?
