I love It, it’s gorgeous!!! Congratulations! Honestly I’m the nervous type, so I immediately booked my venue (we knew where we wanted to be married) and photographer and DJ – I used to work as a DJ assistant so I knew who I wanted and was paranoid they would book up. Then I chilled for six months and now it’s back to planning!

Gorgeous ring! Congratulations!!!
Mine asked last night with a light blue sapphire πŸ™‚ I’m basically staring at it and just taking it all in. But I’m also ready to start planning our beach wedding too!

Just enjoy the feeling of bliss and being able to call him your fiance now! πŸ˜€

Man the more pears I see the more I think I should have gotten one, myself. So so gorgeous.

Definitely not weird that you don’t feel different yet. It takes a while for the feeling to set in.

I’d say first thing is to figure out what part of the wedding is most important. The day you choose? The venue? The guest list? Focus on building the rest of your plans around a single unifying idea. It will help keep priorities clear in case things start to feel confusing.

And, just try to enjoy this time. It’s really special. Don’t feel pressured to hurry into planning. Savor the feeling of getting engaged. And have fun staring at that peach of a ring!

It’s beautiful and congratulations!

I remember really basking in the ‘newly engaged’ glow. Share the happy time with your family and/or friends! Go for brunch, hang out together, netflix and chill, whatever!

Also, something you DON’T have to do right away is decide who is in your bridal party (or talk to others about it if you feel they’re trying to pressure you into letting them in!) Just say, “Oh I dunno yet!” and change the subject!
