I know I shouldn’t get too excited over little references, but I just do sometimes!
The other day, I was at my dad’s house visiting. In his pantry, I noticed this jar of caramel, called “Mrs. Richardson’s butterscotch caramel”. So I took a picture of the jar and sent it to RRR. He sends me back a text that says, “I didn’t know you had your own brand of butterscotch” hmmm
When I get back and go to his house, he mentioned it again. This time I said, “That’s not my name, silly.” So then he got all jokey and said something like, “Oh, I wonder where I’ve heard that last name…”
And then another time, he was talking about getting another roommate soon. Now, he is a single father (his daughter is 2). He already has a guest bedroom set up, so I’m assuming he is talking about me. I know, I know. Assuming. But it still makes me excited. 🙂
What little things do your guys say that make you wish he’d just hurry up and just ask?!

We were on vacation once, and someone referred to me as SO’s “wife”. He smiled and agreed. Lol.
He also loves to ask me if I want to be Mrs. Hislastname on ocassion.

Eh, let yourself get excited. 🙂 There’s nothing wrong with it. I haven’t been refered to as the “Mrs” but every once in a while he says I’d make such a good housewife. Sometimes I’m not sure if it’s cute… 🙂

well, today we were listening to pandora radio and an ad came on asking, “does your boyfriend need to get you an engagement ring? come here for our diamonds!” etc. i was only half listening, trying not to be phased by it since i was actually reading a book at the time, but when it was over boyfriend asked, “so do you want your boyfriend to get you a diamond?” lol, i just asked back if my boyfriend wanted to get me one. after a while he responded that he didn’t want to ruin the surprise he’s planning.
gah! these “surprise” clues are becoming more and more obvious, but i know i’ll be waiting it out for a while. it would really suck if he’s just trying to trick me… XP
