MsHymanRoth – The same thing happened to me on my engagement day!!  He proposed on his birthday … he had told me weeks before that the only thing he wanted on his actual birthday was to go out to dinner with me … so I instead planned a somewhat-surprise birthday party for him at a bar the night before.  Since he was being low key (as he knew we had a big day the next day!) I decided to have a few extra drinks to make up for it. I woke up the next morning not feeling so great, and he was in the best mood – it was so annoying! I was like "okay okay it’s his birthday, I’ve got to spark it up" … so I did, and thank goodness I did because it ended up being the most amazing day ever!

What a cute story!  Congratulations!  That’s one romantic story.  I’m a brunch person too so I can understand..what a lovely way to ask you..he wanted to be different, NOT on Valentine’s day, his way.

Hey if you have pics, will you share here?
