Welcome to the hive, and the waiting boards. Be sure and ask to be added to the waiting list, if that’s something you think you’d like to do.

And again, welcome to Wedding Bee!

Aww this is so cute! I love it when guys get all involved like that!

It’ll likely be killer waiting when you know he has something planned, but it will be totally worth it in the end!

Welcome to the Hive!

Welcome to the Bee- but there is nothing wrong with those girls who needed a timeline (not saying that you meant that offensively but timelines, and discussing them, are something we HEAVILY encourage around here). Some women can’t afford to wait forever and having a timeline gives her a bit of her sanity back as well as some control in the waiting process.

i totally asked for a timeline! he said before valentine’s day (he knows i think the holiday is a crock… sorry to those of you who love it) and i told him he had until the end of january because the whole month of february is tainted hahaha. i’m hoping it’ll be when i see him in a few weeks (we’re in a long distance relationship), but more realistically it’ll probably be some time after that.

july is almost around the corner, so good luck!

Just go get the ring sized, write the info down for him and give it to him. Tell him that you are giving it to him so that he doesn’t “have to know what to say” and that he can use it whenever he wants, now he has it.

Doesn’t that just clear it up for him?

Welcome to the hive 🙂

Most jewelers will size you, regardless of if you purchase something or not. Just tell them your SO is about to start ring shopping and you need to know. They’ll schmooze you so you’ll encourage your SO to shop there, and size you.

Welcome.  You’re waiting alright but it doesn’t sound like you’ll wait for long.

Great intro post.  Doesn’t sound like you will be waiting all that long for a ring Smile
