I say do what makes you feel comfortable! It’s not like people won’t know there is usually a height difference between you, and you want to be able to enjoy the wedding, not spend the whole night madly looking for a chance to sit down.

I have the opposite issue – I’m 5’11 and my Fiance is 6′ so in heels I’m taller. I debated wearing flats but I REALLY wanted to wear shoes with a small heel as they make me feel more ‘dressed up’. I eventually bought a pair that will make me taller than him – but all our friends and family know I’m tall so it shouldn’t matter!

I’d go ahead and wear flats! My fiance is 14 inches taller than me and I’m wearing 3″ heels which still puts him at 11 inches taller. There are literally no heels I could wear that would make me look close to his height, haha.

That’s not too much of a height difference! I think you can definitely rock flats!

I’m 5’3″ and Fiance is 6’2″ and I most certainly will be wearing flats on our wedding day. Not only do I hate heels but I love our height difference! I love how he is the perfect height to give me forehead kisses. Even our photographer said we have good “height differential” (whatever that means!!! Haha!!!)

Wear your flats and be comfortable!
