I pray someone can assist me. I have struggled with finding a dress for 2 years. I finally found one that is modest and that I would not HATE to wear to the Masjid. The last piece is to find a head covering or a Hijab. I am doing a bit of mix and matching here to provide the best modesty. Any suggestions for head covering? I was thinking something ornate and gorgeous like the Pakistan wedding dress…

Does he have any sisters or female family members you could ask? They might know what is acceptable to their family, too.

Hi! I am a muslim convert and when I got married, my dress tradicional white but was more modest (no cleavage, up to the breast bone) and sleeveless. For the mosque ceremony I got a long sleeved bolero.
So, for head covering I wore a nice pashmina in a colour that looked good on me (dark pink). Looks lovely in the pictures 🙂 You don’t have to stress about it. It’s just a scarf. You can buy a nice one, colourful or not, with beading or not, with silver/gold thread or not. Have fun!!
Btw, make sure you iron the scarf to take out the fold marks
