I’d just be honest. Playing coy just leads to miscommunication and hurt feelings.

Since he asked…. just say it.  Either he will like the response or not, but at least you put it out there for him.

he dare not ask. I have been insisting that x-mas is going to SUCK, I am not getting anyone anything (though I will), I ask for NOTHING!

He mentioned maybe getting me tickets to see Cinderella on Broadway as a gift and I thought ‘only if you plan on proposing before the clock strikes 12!‘, lol but I told him to do whatever he wanted, that I would like for him to accompany me to the show, but whatever.

Everything that isn’t a sparkly is Whatever.

@loveontop:  WOULDN”T IT! It’s screwed up that that was my first though. If I weren’t Waiting I would be over the moon about seeing my favorite musical back on broadway with my beau but…:( I know I am going to be sitting there the whole evening, only half listening to The Sweetest Sound’s I’ve ever heard, wondering if he’s gonna do it…and be pissed when he isn’t

Waiting has made me ungreatful.

Someone I used to know would ask her man for her engagement ring every year. He’d say “I know, but what else do you want?” and she’s say “I want my engagement ring” over and over. UGH.

Anyways, I used to tease Darling Husband when we were dating that I wanted a pony. It was an ongoing joke. Then two years ago he gave me a stuffed pony.  He had ripped open the butt of the pony and stuffed an ipod (engraved) inside and sewed it back up.  I think it was the cutest, most unique gift ever.

Ha men are so clueless sometimes! I always answer with “something sparkly” and usually end up with something glittered like a keychain or picture frame;)

Mine has been endless with the proposal commercials.

One will come on and he’ll go “Ooooohhhh noooo! Ohhh look at that there on TV! ooohhhhh look at how red you are getting, this is so cute!!!!!!!”

I ONLY GET RED because he starts poking me and making sounds every time one comes on!!!!

I am not even waiting for a Chrismtas proposal, we agreed on sometime next year, but he has already ramped things up. He is really enjoying himself.

I think he’s using the Christmas season as a time of torture. Haha.

It is a tiny bit annoying but if I can admit this on the bee, also VERY FUN.
