honestly it sounds like he just wants live-in domestic help: nanny, cook, and maid. If you dont want that role, or want to be something beyond the help I wouldnt marry him…

I haven’t read all the posts, but… I do think it is reasonable to have dinner ready or cooking every day while he is at work.  I have 3 kids.  I know kids are a ton of work.  But instead of working outside the home, I have chosen to be a Stay-At-Home Mom.  So I make sure all the cooking and cleaning is done.  When Darling Husband is home, it is a different story and we share the housework.  You are choosing to be with this man and his three kids, and choosing not to get a job, so just because it is new to you, doesn’t mean you can’t do it.  If you don’t want to do those things, then I would look for a job and hire a cleaner, and share the cooking responsibilities.
