I am glad you are handling it well. You will have to devise a way to get even with him. 😉

You took it well, atleast he knows it’s important to you now but I agree with baldor1, get him back!

If it makes you feel any better, my fiance did a “fake” proposal on April Fools Day– and then proposed for real the very next day!  All of his guy friends thought it was awesome, all of my girlfriends were absolutley horrified.  Boys are dumb sometimes  : )

oh man you are a better woman than I am.  If Boyfriend or Best Friend did that to me, he would not live to see another day.  Not cool!

MEAN! oh man thats cute though. He was probably trying to be Jim from the office.  “pam would you….. hold this while I tie my shoe?” Haha!

That was a pretty mean trick though, but hey, he’s probably just trying to trick you into complacency. 😉

Fiance used to do that all the time. He’s get on one knee and say something like, “HisBarista…will you please” and he’s whip out a chocolatye or something and ask me to share it with him. ugh! lol.

I’m glad you are taking it well.

My boyfriend did something like that once… a couple of years ago, before we were discussing marriage seriously and when future still vaguely freaked me out. We were cooking together at his place and one of the recipes called for a blender, which he didn’t have. All of a sudden he gets down on one knee, takes my hand, and tells me he has a serious question to ask me.

“Will you… go blender shopping with me?”

I was scared as HELL that he was actually going to ask me to marry him, haha.

I’d be pretty pissed if he did that to me now that we’re seriously discussing marriage though!

My Darling Husband thought this was hillarious too.  He took me to the mountain that we had our first “chairlift up, walk down” date, and the chairlift was out of service.  So he said he still really needed to get up there, so we WALKED to the top of the mountain, overlooking the whole city, and he gets down on one knee…. looks up at me, and says “this would be a great place to propose.  My shoelace is untied.  Ok, let’s go back down”.

I told my boyfriend about the blender thing and he didn’t even remember it. He just laughed hysterically and said it sounded like something he’d do.

Why do these men think they’re so funny… -_-

As I’m rather mean and nasty I’d have to stop by the drug store and pick up a pregnancy test… I’d just come out of the bathroom holding it and say, "Um, honey, we have to talk…"

My mean, nasty revenge streak is probably why my guy never messed with me about a proposal though Laughing

LOL my thoughts were even more evil then Serya. I would get one of my pregnant friends to pee on a test for me and then leave it there for him to see. I am EVIL when I am crossed LOL
