Bottom line, you’re the bride so it’s ultimately your decision. Maybe you could have him pick out a few dresses that he likes, and you could take it into account when you go dress shopping? He should think that you’re beautiful in whatever you pick, and I would hate for you to pass on a dress you love because you don’t think it’s the one he would want you to buy. Which dress will make you feel the most beautiful, and which one could you buy and be positive that you wouldn’t regret down the line?

If you are trying to be sensitive to his preferences and meet in the middle, the Disney princess line is probably not the way to go. Wink But it is a really pretty dress!

@soontobeMrsA – Bummer!  In the future, I just wouldn’t show him.  He will LOVE seeing you walk down the aisle in whatever your little heart desires.

@SoontobeMrsA: I think you have to wear the wedding dress that you think if “the one”.  You may try these dresses on and find they’re not for you.  I know I was thinking of classic and simple and I ended up buying a dress with poofy tulle with sparkle on the bustier and all the way through the skirt.  At the end of the day once your FH sees you walking down the aisle he’ll think you’re gorgeous no matter what you’re wearing.  Go with your heart 🙂  By the way the dresses are stunning!!

He’s going to love whatever you get once it is on you.  If you want to compromise, get something that isn’t super sparkly.  I don’t think you have to get a plain dress just to please him. Dresses look different in real life anyway.

@SoontobeMrsA: I like this one the most out of all the pictures! Very pretty, feminine and definitely stands out and doesn’t look like every other dress!

Don’t ask your guy for dress opinions! Seriously most guys have no clue about fashion and can’t tell what a dress would look like on you after only seeing a model pic. He is gonna think you look beautiful that day. He will see the whole package, you all dolled up, hair, makeup etc. Hr probably won’t even notice the exact style of your dress. Also I think the dresses you chose are beautiful and classic. They are not even that trendy or out there. Start trying on dresses and see if you even like these styles on your body. Also the comment about not being busty was pretty rude. Way to make a girl feel self conscious, lol.

Why are you letting your Fiance pick your dress?  I think it’s great that he wants to be involved in the planning, but your dress is something that should be your decision and your decision alone.  Besides, when the day comes he’ll think you’re beautiful no matter what you’re wearing.

And I love all the dresses you posted, especially the first one.

I agree. Your wedding dress is sooooo not about him, and you will look beautiful in whatever makes you FEEL beautiful. He’s marrying YOU, not your dress.
