I didn’t know where to categorize this, but I figured it was best in the “waiting” forum. I just wanted to share with all of you that Mr. Tiny went ring shopping with his grandpa and mom this morning!
He wasn’t planning on telling me, but it slipped out yesterday. I asked him through a text if it went well this morning, and he said yes! So I am definitely excited!!!! And I got my wisdom teeth pulled out today, so this was definitely news that cheered me up! 🙂
And I am pretty sure he is going to do it during winterbreak when we are all up in Utah, as there have been several hints about it! I can’t wait!!! 🙂

AHHHHHH!
Major update! Yesterday, we were driving home from his parents’ house and I was talking to him about their annual family Christmas trip to Utah. I said that I talked to my mom again about it, and that she understood why I was going and was happy for me, but that she would’ve preferred that we be married or at least engaged. Then he looked at me and was like, “Well, did you tell your mom we would be engaged by then?”
Then I turned to him and literally said, “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?!”
He laughed asking if I thought he was going to do it in Utah for sure and I was like, “uh… yeah!” Then he cracked a smile and was like, “Well I guess we’ll see” – or something like that (I was on Vicodin, I am not quite sure what he said??).
Then in my Vicodin induced drowsiness when we were saying goodnight, I asked him if he bought the ring when he went with his grandpa and mom. Even though I was hopped up on drugs, I could tell he was hiding something from me when he said “no”! He always cracks a really thin smile when he’s up to something – and that’s exactly what happened when I asked him!
AHHHHH!
Just had to share with you all! I am trying not to smile because it hurts so much right now, but I can’t help it! 🙂

YAYYYYYY!!!
P.S. My friend swears that eating pineapple reduces swelling and pain from mouth surgery. It might be too late though, since she said you have to eat it before the surgery. I’m not sure if it works after.

Another update!
I KNOW HE BOUGHT A RING!
I was on his computer doing homework and I went to open a new window – and in the background, his email was open! Gmail has a sneak preview of your emails – and I saw a sentence that said “Congrats on buying the ring!” I resisted every urge and didn’t open the email (thank God) to read further. I am so so excited! Now I have to resist the urge to look around the apartment… but I bet he was smart and left it at his parent’s place!

Oh my gosh, that is some strong willpower. I would have had that email open before I even thought twice! Congrats!! I hope you get the ring soon!

@McVerde: I hope so too! Now that I know it is here (well at least I think it is) I am just super antsy and anxious. I am trying my best to relax and enjoy myself, but it’s so hard when I think every little moment is “the time”!

Oh I’m so happy to hear he bought it! Of course you’re anxious, that is perfectly normla. Try to enjoy yourself, the anticipation is actually FUN when you can control the “not freaking out” part of it, right?
