My husband was not really excited about engagement photos but did them anyway because he knew i really wanted them – i secretly think he had fun and enjoyed the pictures as well. I hope he comes around!

My Fiance wasn’t crazt about the idea either. In fact, I know he would have rathered not do them, but he did them for me and ended up having a lot of fun. He thought the pics came out great. She paid him a lot of individual attention and that was a big part of it. He thought it was going to be focused on me, hah.

Once you get him to do it, he won’t argue so much. Hold him to it when he says “next weekend”!

My FH is a sweetheart – he’s not as excited about our engagement shoot as I am, but he goes along with it b/c he knows how much I want to do it!

Not many men are truly that in to the idea of engagement photos, but I imagine that doing them when your mother is the photographer would be less than ideal.

Alot of men hate being photographed. Set a date and stick to it. Also keep in mind that many couples skip the engagement pictures entirely, although it is recommended to have them so that you are able to do a practice run with your wedding day photographer and learn to relax in front of the camera.
