We had a nice long chat about it and he’s not going to try and pressure me not to. He’s just extremely concerned about something happening to it. But, be said he understand where I stand and he won’t say anything more about NOT wearing it to work.
And I might have accidentally made him tell me that he already bought the rings…….because when I questioned him a second time on why he was set on me wearing two rather than one (I’d prefer just the ering) he didn’t know what else to say so he told me he bought them already. My bad…….🙄😏 I’m not going to say anything else about that because I technically did choose them both while we were “browsing”…just didn’t know he would jump onto it so quickly. I thought it was more casual..

Sounds ridiculously childish that he has an opinion on this.

rez123 : it really depends on the hospital and unit. We really have no jewelry restrictions outside of common sense. Our infection rates are really low so I don’t think it’s causing issues in that regard.

I have a replica ring! My real ring has an exact replica (which he actually proposed with because we were on a four day mountain-climbing hike). It’s got Cubic Zirconia instead of the diamonds in my real ring. He had his jeweler make it, and I wear it when ever we travel or go on really adventurous/tactical hikes, or if I’m traveling alone (more susceptible to pick pocketers or theft when alone).
Honestly, I don’t know much about diamonds, so when he proposed with the fake one, I didn’t even realize it wasn’t a real diamond until we got off the hike and he gave me the real one.
