Every once in a while and more so lately, I’ve been noticing a sharp fleeting pain on the right side of my head when straining to have a Bridesmaid or Best Man. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any idea what it might be? The pain goes away after a few seconds it’s just so weird to me.

Is straining a normal thing for you? I mean, is it a common occurrence? Maybe you are subconsciously squeezing your head muscles, or something attached to them?

I think the headache is just caused by exertion. I work in a hospital, and this happens to some of our patients that have been constipated, they exert too much energy to have a bm, and it gives them a headache. You should try taking some stool softener, and eat more fiber in your diet.

@MrsSl82be: I strain every once in a while. I probably am subconsiously doing something to cause the pain haha
@hopefloats: Thanks. I hope it’s nothing. I googled it and that just scared the crap out of me lol

Straining can cause a ton of issues, so you should try to never strain. I’d like to add to mrscheetos that preventing dehydration can work wonders, too.
