(Closed) head pain when straining…possible TMI

Is straining a normal thing for you? I mean, is it a common occurrence? Maybe you are subconsciously squeezing your head muscles, or something attached to them?

I think the headache is just caused by exertion. I work in a hospital, and this happens to some of our patients that have been constipated, they exert too much energy to have a bm, and it gives them a headache. You should try taking some stool softener, and eat more fiber in your diet.

Straining can cause a ton of issues, so you should try to never strain. I’d like to add to mrscheetos that preventing dehydration can work wonders, too.
