Try magnesium with a caffeinated drink.  A midwife actually suggested it to me.  I ended up taking pain medications because I have had migrained this pregnancy most days, but the magnesium has decreased them in number.

@Mewithoutyou:  I def had that, and it was terrible! On the downside, I did all of those things and did not find anything that worked. On the upside, they went away at about 17 weeks, and I haven’t had headaches any at all since then except very occasional normal short headaches when I am really tired or dehydrated.

@Mewithoutyou:  I had bad headaches with both pregnancies. It’s the only time I’ve ever had headaches other than along with a cold or sinus infection or something. Mine always radiated up from the base of my skull.

I had really bad headaches almost every night from weeks 16-20. I’m sorry you’re having such trouble! The only thing that helped for me was seeing a chiropractor. I went twice and after that they cleared up. I’m not sure how much of it was just the passage of time and changing hormone levels or what. Make sure you take Tylenol as soon as you feel it coming on. I was sometimes able to ward them off that way.

ugh! I had that from weeks 6-15 or so. It was SO rough…I am so sorry that you are dealing that that. I wish I had something for you that would help, but nothing really did it for me – thankfully, they are gone now.  Congrats, though!

It might be worth a quick check to make sure your blood pressure hasn’t increased! If you’ve had a checkup since the headaches started, disregard that comment 🙂 If not, there are screening machines at almost every drugstore.

I’m surprised your doctor told you to just continue taking Tylenol if it isn’t working for you.  Tylenol didn’t work AT ALL for me and I continued to get horrible migraines.  So my doctor perscribed fioricet and it works wonderfully!  I would ask your doctor about it.
