I would go for a birdcage veil. Timeless and beautiful.

I would go with a headband, not personally a fan of birdcages

I’m partial to birdcage, but I think you’ll look nice with either one 😉

I had a dress that was sort of similar to yours (I wore Maggie Sottoro Bernadette), and I would say “Definitely go for the headband!” I wore a birdgage veil and a feather fascinator for the ceremony, but it was surprisingly annoying to see “through” the veil.

It might be ok if you wore the birdcage in such a way that it did’t go over your eyes, but I think the headband would be more comfortable. I took the veil off immediately after the ceremony and just wore my feather fascinator the rest of the day. Here’s what mine looked like though.

@cherryblossomlove:  Wow, that is so nice of you! Seriously, I never did a recap because I got a running injury the month before and submitted my MA thesis the week before so I gained 10 pounds (when I wanted to be losing weight!) and I felt like my dress ended up not fitting as well as it should have.

Anyway, I did my hair and makeup myself. The hair was actually pretty easy. I’m not at home right now – and I actually just posted this one on another thread, but this is one of the better ones I have access to atm where you can see my hair. If you want me to dig for a better one of my hair later, let me know.
